At Beginning Years Child Care Center our staff believes in the natural God-given capacity of children for wonder. We encourage a love of learning by leading children in circle time, learning centers, prayer, devotion, art and play-based learning. We embrace diversity and creativity, introducing children to the rich tapestry of experiences that prepares them for the ever changing world.

We take immense pride in our exceptional team of teachers who are the heart and soul of our center. Each member of our team undergoes training in first aid and CPR, ensuring the safety and well-being of every child entrusted in our care. Our teachers further their education by taking classes each year that pertain to their particular age group.

At Beginning Years we don’t just educate children we encourage them to be the best versions of themselves.

Lindsay Shaffer

Director

Lindsay was born in Sun Valley, Idaho and raised on a small farm in Carey, Idaho. She loves to ride horses and was very active in 4-H. She graduated from Carey High School in 2003. She has been happily married since 2011 and has four beautiful children. She always wanted to be a teacher and joined Beginning Years in 2014. After receiving her certification, she began as a lead teacher in the two-year-old classroom. She was later promoted to Assistant Director. Due to her success in this role and her love for the program, she became Director of Beginning Years in 2023.
